He was an IT System Consultant before his retirement, has over 20 years of Canadian working experiences of finance applications in the transportation and energy industries, the clients include CP Rail, Talisman Energy and Cenovus Energy. Before moving to Canada, he was a university lecturer in Jilin, China, and also worked as a software engineer with a Sino-Japanese joint venture in Tokyo, Japan. Jilin is honest, impartial and enthusiastic in public welfare. He contributes most his spare time in community services, actively volunteering for many not-for-profit organizations and charities, such as the president of Calgary Chinese Dongbei Association (2012-2019), the board director of Calgary Ringtorch Sport Association (2012-2019), the advisor of some NPO organizations, played a key role in supporting Calgary local societies and events.

Yuantao Di, Director

For more than 25 years, he has been involved in organizing numerous big events for Chinese cultural celebration and is well-known among the Chinese community. He has held senior accountant and supervisory positions in companies such as Pembina Pipeline Corporation, AltaGas Ltd., and Gibson Energy Inc., and developed expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting, financial reporting, economic analysis and project management. Chris is also a firm believer in giving back to communities, having volunteered in Centre Street Church, Calgary Drop-in Centre, Mustard Seed, and other charitable and not-for-profit organizations. Chris worked as Finance Manager at Centre Street Church and as CFO at Wing Kei Care Centre. He also serves as a board member and Treasurer at Calgary Jiang Zhe Shanghai Association, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Chinese senior citizens and the community beyond.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science at University of Toronto and a teaching degree at Nanjing Normal University. Jing has worked as a project manager with Weatherford Canada for over 7 years and taught natural science at Nanjing Foreign Language school for over 4 years. Mother of three teenagers, Jing is devoted to community services and passionate about youth development.

She holds EMBA (Xiamen University). Before moving to Canada, she was a senior certified accountant working for more than 25 years in global company such as Unilever, CEVA. She also worked as regional controller in Rhenus Logistics China Ltd.. Lannie has been devoting her passion to community service and helping people in need after she immigrated to Canada.

Lei is a professional engineer with 30 years of experience in geometric design, transportation planning, traffic operations, and safety in both the private and public sectors. She is currently working with Alberta Transportation as Geometric Standards Specialist. She received her Master of Engineering degree in 2005 from the University of Western Ontario. Lei is passionate about volunteer work. She is the technical advisor for the University of Alberta since 2017 having supervised 30+ engineering students in their Capstone projects. She is also an active member of the Transportation Association of Canada Geometric Design committee, Road Safety committee, and Roundabout subcommittee. In her spare time, Lei likes spending time with her husband and two children, working out and being outdoors.
